Twice in his Florida restaurant, Lorenzo Amati set a record for the largest pizza he ever baked, only to have it surpassed twice. Lorenzo created the then-world's largest pizza in 1987; it measured almost 21.9 meters in circumference. The American Red Cross received the proceeds from the sale of pizza.
