A bearded dragon, or Pogona vitticeps, is among the best reptile companions. In addition to having little spikes all over their "beard" and torso and coming in a range of colors, bearded dragons are also highly inquisitive about their surroundings and manageable.
Being omnivores, bearded dragons consume a daily salad of vegetables like bell peppers and collard greens in addition to insects.
